What is Tru?
Tru is a flavored sparkling water made with real fruit juice and seven simple ingredients. We make two lines: Tru Energizing, with 70mg of organic caffeine from green coffee bean, and Tru Calming, with 42mg of magnesium glycinate for relaxation and sleep.
What flavors do you offer?
Tru Energizing comes in Orange Mango, Apple Kiwi, and Peach Lemon. Tru Calming comes in Cherry Berry, Blackberry Lime, and Strawberry Melon. Both lines are also available as variety packs.
How much caffeine is in the energizing formula?
Tru Energizing contains 70mg of organic caffeine from green coffee bean extract per can, roughly the equivalent of one espresso shot. Enough for clean, focused energy without jitters or a crash. Tru Calming is caffeine-free.
What type of magnesium is in Tru Calming?
Tru Calming uses magnesium glycinate, the most bioavailable and stomach-gentle form of magnesium. Unlike magnesium citrate, which can cause digestive discomfort, or magnesium oxide, which has poor absorption, magnesium glycinate is the form most recommended by dietitians for relaxation and sleep.
Is Tru Calming caffeine free?
Yes. Tru Calming is completely caffeine free, making it safe and enjoyable for the whole family, including kids.
How many calories are in a can of Tru?
Each 12 fl oz can has just 10 calories, 1g of sugar from real fruit juice, and 1g of carbohydrates. Zero fat. Zero sodium. Zero added sugar.

Are there any allergens in your drinks?
None of our products contain any of the eight major allergens — no milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, or soybeans.
What are the ingredients in Tru?
Both lines use just seven ingredients. The only difference is that energy uses 70mg organic caffeine and calm infuses 42mg magnesium glycinate.
Energizing: Carbonated Water, Organic Apple Juice Concentrate, Organic Lemon Juice Concentrate, Organic Flavors, Organic Caffeine (From Organic Green Coffee Bean Extract), Organic Stevia Extract (Steviol Glycosides), Organic Monk Fruit Extract.
Calming: Carbonated Water, Organic Apple Juice Concentrate, Organic Lemon Juice Concentrate, Organic Flavors, Magnesium Glycinate, Organic Stevia Extract (Steviol Glycosides), Organic Monk Fruit Extract.
Is Tru organic?
Tru Energizing is USDA Organic certified. Every ingredient is third-party verified. Over 91% of energy drinks on the market are not organic. Tru is one of the few that is.
Tru Calming is not USDA Organic certified because magnesium glycinate, the functional ingredient that makes the product work, is a mineral compound that cannot be classified as organic under USDA standards. We could have used magnesium citrate, which would have allowed us to pursue organic certification for the Calming line. But magnesium citrate has lower bioavailability, is harder on the stomach, and is not the form recommended by dietitians for relaxation and sleep.
Is Tru vegan, gluten free, and kosher?
Yes. Tru is Certified Vegan, Certified Gluten Free, and OU Kosher certified. Both lines are also Non-GMO, Dairy Free, Keto Friendly, and free from all 8 major allergens.
Does Tru contain any artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols?
No. Tru contains no artificial sweeteners, no sucralose, no erythritol, and no sugar alcohols. We use only organic stevia and organic monk fruit. Sweet by nature, never by shortcuts.

How long does it take to process an order?

What is your return policy?
All sales are final due to the perishable nature of our products. We don't offer returns or exchanges on beverages, but if your order arrives damaged or defective, we'll make it right. Contact us at support@drinktru.com within 7 days of receiving your order and we'll send a replacement.

Tru is headquartered in Massachusetts and produced by a fourth generation, family owned manufacturer in Worcester, Massachusetts that has been crafting beverages since 1882. Our facility is FDA registered, SQF certified, and GMP certified.

Is Tru safe for kids?
Tru Calming is caffeine free and made with simple, clean ingredients, making it a great option for kids. Tru Energizing contains 70mg of caffeine and is intended for adults.
Can I drink Tru while pregnant or nursing?
Tru Calming is caffeine free and contains no artificial ingredients. However, we always recommend consulting your doctor before adding any new food or beverage to your diet during pregnancy or nursing.
Is Tru diabetic friendly?
With just 10 calories, 1g of sugar from fruit juice, 1g of carbohydrates, no added sugar, and a low glycemic index, Tru is one of the cleanest functional beverages on the market. It is naturally sweetened with stevia and monk fruit, both of which have a low glycemic impact. That said, every person's health needs are different. We always recommend consulting your physician before making any changes to your diet, especially if you are managing diabetes or any other medical condition.
Is Tru a good replacement for soda or energy drinks?
Yes. Tru was designed as a healthier alternative to both. Compared to traditional sodas and energy drinks that rely on added sugar, artificial sweeteners, or sugar alcohols, Tru delivers real flavor from real fruit juice with just 10 calories and 1g of sugar per can.
